The Knights can confirm that prop Jordan Baldwinson, sponsored by John Stabler (Textiles), is leaving the club.

Baldwinson made a try-scoring Knights debut in April 2019 in our Betfred Challenge Cup Round Three tie against Widnes Vikings and made forty-one appearances for the Knights, scoring three tries.

In a message to the Knights fans, Baldwinson wrote: “It comes with a heavy heart that I have decided to end my time with the Knights.

“It was a very hard decision to choose to move away from York after becoming so attached to this club, but I have decided I would like a new challenge.

“To the fans, staff and players, I would like to thank you all for helping me fall back in love with the game and for making me realise why I play this sport.

“The club is definitely heading in the right direction and I would like to wish them all the best in the future.”

Everyone at the Knights would like to thank Jordan for his efforts in the white, amber and black and to wish him the best for his future.
