York City Knights are delighted to announce that utility back and England Students international Jason Bass has signed a new deal for the 2020 season.

23 year old Bass arrived at the Knights last November after playing over 60 games for Coventry Bears, and is a Midlands Academy graduate.

He has gone on to play 21 games to date as York sit second in the Betfred Championship, scoring seven tries from the wing, centre and fullback positions. His tough and hardworking attitude as well as his great character quickly made him a firm favourite with the Knights fans.

“He’s made a positive impact on and off the field and I’m delighted to re-sign a young player with his potential.”

The Knights are currently enjoying a much needed week off before attentions turn to the final stretch of Betfred Championship regular season action, starting with a tough tie at Barrow Raiders on Sunday 4th August.
