Ford names 21 Man Squad for Dewsbury Trip

James Ford has named a 21 Man Squad for Sunday evening’s Betfred Championship match against Dewsbury Rams which sees just two changes from last week’s.

Forwards Tim Spears and James Green, the latter having missed the 64-16 victory over Swinton Lions with a hip complaint, come back into contention in the place of Lewis Peachey and Joe Keyes.

Both loanees have returned to their parent clubs after being recalled from their loan periods.

Matty Marsh’s starring role in the halves last week saw him score four tries and assist three and, coupled with the performance of Hull FC loanee Connor Wynne at full-back, has certainly given Ford food for thought regarding Marsh’s position in the team.

Jason Bass came back into contention against Swinton and, if selected, will make his 100th career appearance. Kieran Dixon is also approaching a career milestone, his 24 point showing against the Lions meaning he is now just twenty off a thousand career points.

As part of sport’s social media boycott this weekend, there will be no Twitter, Facebook or Instagram updates from the club. Bearing this in mind, it’s perhaps more important than ever for Knights fans wanting to keep up to date with events at The Tetley’s Stadium to purchase a Live Stream Pass to watch live on Our League.

Passes are available before Gameday for £4.95, rising to £10 on the day, and can be bought from

A match report will be sent to our newsletter mailing list shortly after full-time on Sunday and you can sign up to that on the homepage of our website.
