York City Knights are delighted to announce that one of York’s newest restaurants, Wagyu Bar & Grill has become an official club partner.

The team from Warrendale Farm near Pocklington recently opened the doors to the Wagyu Bar & Grill on Low Petergate following a dramatic refurbishment project, and earlier this week were fantastic hosts for a successful Knights network evening. Wagyu Bar & Grill will also open a restaurant in Harrogate on Tuesday 11th June.

With an entirely locally sourced affordable menu, there are also vegetarian and vegan options as well as the finest quality York bred Wagyu steaks and burgers.

Wagyu Bar & Grill restaurant project manager Adrian Hunter said: ”We are delighted to become a sponsor and partner of the Knights for the next two years and look forward to exciting times ahead as the club transitions into the new Community Stadium for the 2020 season.

“It was very clear from the outset that this is a true family club at the heart of the community and we have been extremely impressed with the strategic vision of the board and the commercial team as they drive the club forward.

“We look forward to building a solid relationship with the club and the fans in the months ahead”

Knights club growth manager Ben Cockayne added: “We’re very proud to partner with one of the best restaurants within the city of York. Not only is the food and service fantastic but the whole staff and leadership behind Wagyu are also a wonderful group.

“We look forward to working with them into 2020 and beyond as the club looks to strengthen commercial partnerships and friendships across the region.”
