York City Knights have strengthened their back line options by signing 19 year old outside back Cameron Scott from Hull FC – initially on a one month loan deal.

The former Bradford Bulls youngster turned City of Hull Academy graduate has seen his early career progress at a rapid speed, having already made his Super League debut in the fierce Hull derby and skippering England Academy to a Test series triumph over Australia Schoolboys.

The centre started his rugby league journey with Bradford community club Wyke ARLFC, where he boasted an incredible try-scoring record of over 50 tries in a single season.

Knights Head Coach James Ford said: “It will be great to supplement our options in the three quarters with a player of Cam’s potential.

“I’ve worked with him before in the England Academy set up and I’m confident that his mentality and approach will be a good fit for us.”

Scott comes into contention for the Knights squad this Sunday at Swinton Lions, as the Knights look to maintain their Betfred Championship play-off push. Call the office now on 01904 876527 to book your place on the supporter’s bus for just £15.

Knights 2020 season ticket renewals are also on sale now, with prices frozen until July 31st as we prepare for our momentous move into the brand new York Community Stadium. For more information click HERE.
