An exciting opportunity has arisen for York City Knights fans to offer their thoughts and opinions on the new community stadium project.

York Stadium Management Company (SMC), who will manage the new Community Stadium, formed a ‘Stadium Working Group’ (SWG) over the summer, to serve as a voice of York City Football Club and York City Knights fan base during stadium operational discussions prior to the stadium opening.

As ever, fan opinion and communication is of paramount importance to us, and as the Knights prepare for this once in a lifetime move it is important to gain valued input from our fans. If selected, you will represent the club at the SWG from a fan point of view:

What do you want? Where do you want it? What will be important to stadium users you know? There are numerous questions that only you can help to answer.

The SWG hold regular meetings to discuss the development of the two club’s new home.

The SMC will be listening to your opinions and aspirations during this period of supporter engagement with the desire to help to shape a positive spectator experience at the Community Stadium.

Over the next few weeks, the SMC is inviting applications from anyone who may wish to become an additional member of the SWG.

The SMC are seeking to add to the existing SWG with a cross-section of people to represent a diverse range of stadium user groups.

All applications should be sent to giving a name and contact number along with a short statement (approximate 40-50 words) explaining who you represent and why you feel you would be an ideal candidate for the role.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 30th November, 2018.
