Knights strengthen off field with General Manager appointment
York City Knights are pleased to announce Neil Gulliver as the club’s new General Manager.
The York-born 40 year old joined the Knights as Foundation Manager a little over three years ago, after 12 years service at the City ofYork council in their sports development department.
Commenting on his new role, Gulliver said: “Since joining the York City Knights Foundation it has been a privilege to be able to support the growth and development of the sport across York and North Yorkshire.
“For me, becoming involved with the Foundation was always about helping the sport and club reach its undoubted potential and I am proud to be able to contribute to this.
“This is an exciting time to be involved with the club and I look forward to the challenge of strengthening and growing both the club and foundation over the coming years.”
Knights Chairman Jon Flatman added: “Our club strategy is based around the values of vibrancy, partnership, integrity and competitiveness and Neil epitomises all of those characteristics.
“This is an excellent step forward in the growth of the club and I welcome Neil to this new role.”
