Tickets on sale for Knights vs Bradford
York City Knights are pleased to confirm that tickets are now on sale for this Sunday’s home match against Bradford Bulls, the first match of a Knights double header with our Ladies team taking on Leeds Rhinos in the Betfred Women’s Super League Play-Offs afterwards.
Kicking off at 3pm, the Knights and Bradford will take to the field for the latest installment in what has become a great rivalry in recent years, stemming from our days together in League One when the Knights recorded a vital, memorable 30-28 victory over John Kear’s side on the way to lifting the title in 2018.
2019 saw James Ford’s men record the double over the Bulls, with a Liam Harris drop-goal sealing a 25-24 victory at Bootham Crescent on a day that will live long in the memories of Knights fans.
Earlier this season, we fell to a 37-18 defeat to Bradford as the fallen giant returned to Odsal and, as such, Ford and his Knights team will be keen to avenge that defeat in what we all hope will be a bumper crowd at the LNER Community Stadium.
After the Mens team kicks off proceedings, Lindsay Anfield’s Ladies team will take on Leeds Rhinos in their second match of the Women’s Super League Play-Offs. Sunday saw the Knights fall to a 32-0 defeat at the hands of Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup winners St Helens in a rematch of the showpiece final and the team will no doubt be keen to bounce back in only their second match at our new home.
Tickets are available to purchase now, priced at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions (17-21, 65+) and FREE for under 16s. These tickets will be valid for both matches.
There are also a strictly limited number of tickets available for the Ladies match only, priced at £5. The turnstiles for these tickets will open around 4:30pm, after the first game has finished.
You can purchase your tickets online from the York Stadium Management Company Ticket Office online HERE. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets in person from the Ticket Office, located within the LNER Community Stadium. They are open between 10am and 4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. They will also be open from 10am to 7pm on Wednesday and from 11am to 3pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets will be available to purchase on the day if there are any remaining. We are expecting this game to sell out so advance purchase is advised.
