Knights Stars

Knights Stars

Designed for children in Key stage 1 and Key stage 2, we are delighted to bring to you our latest programme for youngsters to enjoy, with sessions taking place at the LNER Community Stadium.

Suitable for children who want to take part in weekly, fun, non-contact sessions where they can learn the basic skills associated with Rugby and hopefully grow in confidence to join a local community club if they are not already involved with one.

Primary Rugby League is for many children their first experience of rugby and given the right environment, we see it as a step towards lifelong involvement with the sport and physical activity.

Our aim is to help build your child’s confidence and development by making activity fun and engaging.

Sessions are structured around the concept of play, allowing children to explore and discover different ways to move, whilst teaching them how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.

The programme is split into two sessions, with the first session catering for children in Key Stage 1 (children in reception, years 1 and 2) and the second session for children in Key Stage 2 (years 3, 4, 5 and 6).

Week 1 starts Monday 25th April x 4 weeks.
Please note: No session on May Bank holiday (Monday).

Cost: £16 for the 4-week course
