York City Knights Foundation are pleased to announce Cyber Risk Associates as sponsor of the Primary Schools Programme.  The investment will further enable the Foundation’s community work and provides a boost for schools Rugby League.

The York based cybersecurity specialists support businesses to prevent the impacts of data breaches and cyber-attacks, and to improve their resilience and ability to respond and recover should attacks occur.  They join a growing list of local and nationally based partners – with the Knights hoping to announce more exciting partnerships soon.

Knights’ Chairman Jon Flatman is excited about the new deal. “The Foundation has a clear vision of ‘Inspiring Communities and Changing Lives across York and North Yorkshire.’  We are delighted to have secured a sponsorship agreement with Cyber Risk Associates who have bought into our vision of how we want to develop Rugby League in schools.  Their investment allows us to continue to engage and inspire primary school children.”

“Over 30 years involvement in the game I’ve seen how Rugby League can help children to find their confidence, build the team work and leadership skills needed to succeed, and improve health outcomes,” noted Kevin Hayes, Director of Cyber Risk Associates.  “And as a parent I’m thrilled to be able to support the Foundation’s Primary School Programme and to create these opportunities for more children.”

“2019 has been a great season for the Knights on and off the field and the Foundation is a key part of that continued success.  We’re proud to be associated with the Knight’s community programme at this exciting time.  It’s a fantastic opportunity to support the Foundation’s outcomes and we’re looking forward to playing our part in that.”
