A late Connor Robinson penalty goal earned York City Knights a vital Betfred Championship point as they came from 14-6 down to rescue a draw at Batley Bulldogs yesterday. Head Coach James Ford made 3 changes from the team that won at Sheffield Eagles nine days ago; Captain Tim Spears served a one match suspension, while Sam Scott and Will Oakes rested slight knocks. York City Knights’ incredible 2019 season continues as they produced one of the best performances of the year to defeat play-off rivals Sheffield Eagles at a sunny Olympic Legacy Park on Friday night. York City Knights overcame a red card to pull off a sensational last minute victory over Dewsbury Rams at Bootham Crescent today, to stay in the Betfred Championship play-off places.
