Whitehaven 37 (24)-(0) 12 York City Knights York City Knights turned in a poor performance to fall to defeat in Cumbria as Whitehaven recorded a 37-12 victory in the Betfred Championship. Following an improved performance last week in defeat to Batley Bulldogs, hopes were high ahead of this afternoon’s match but it wasn’t to be on the day. A first half which saw the Knights concede four converted tries ultimately proved impossible to come back from. Three of those tries came in a seven minute spell, starting with hooker James Newton forcing over from close range with a dummy-half play.... ...Read The Article

York City Knights 20 (0)-(10) 22 Batley Bulldogs York City Knights fell to an agonising 22-20 defeat this afternoon at the LNER Community Stadium against Batley Bulldogs, despite arguably being the better team and dominating field position.
