Knights head coach James Ford has named his nineteen man squad for this Sunday’s Cumbrian trip to Barrow Raiders in round 23 of the Betfred Championship.

Sam Scott and Perry Whiteley are absent from the provisional squad after starring against Bradford Bulls while experienced forward Graeme Horne, ruled out through injury against the Bulls shortly before kick off, is taking an enforced break this weekend as he serves a one-match suspension from the 14-14 draw against Batley Bulldogs.

Centre Brad Hey returns to the provisional squad after missing out ahead of the 25-24 victory over Bradford while back-rower Mike Kelly comes into contention for the first time in a few weeks. Regular interchange forward Joe Porter is also included for the first time since our 1895 Cup exit at the quarter-final stage against Batley at the end of June.

Full-back Matty Marsh, a late withdrawal from the Bradford clash, is also included and likely to start for Ford’s men while Liam Salter has recovered from a head knock sustained late against the Bulls to be included.
